Articles submitted to the journal should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted papers MUST be written in English, not exceeding 10 pages IJCIT journal format (submitted papers need to be in MS Word format with file extension .doc or .docx).

Submissions

The reviewers' recommendations determine whether a paper will be accepted / accepted subject to change / subject to resubmission with significant changes / rejected. For papers which require changes, the same reviewers will be used to ensure that the quality of the revised paper is acceptable.
All papers are refereed, and the Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to refuse any typescript, whether on invitation or otherwise, and to make suggestions and/or modifications before publication.

Instructions

When submitting papers for potential publication in the IJCIT, please submit an original editable file in one of the (.doc, .docx) style files. All figures, images, tables, etc., should be embedded into the original file. Detailed instructions on preparing papers for submission can be found in the Template Paper and Copyright Transfer Form.

  1. Page Layout: Use A4 or letter-sized paper, with double-column format common for journals and conference proceedings.
  2. Font and Spacing: Times New Roman font, single-spaced text, and font size of 10 or 12 points.
  3. Margins: Set left and right margins at 0.75 inches (19mm), and top and bottom margins at 1 inch (25mm).
  4. Title and Authors: Center the title in bold font, list authors and affiliations below, and include email addresses.
  5. Abstract: Provide a concise summary of around 150-250 words.
  6. Sections and Headings: Use clear, bold section headings, numbered if necessary.
  7. Figures and Tables: Number sequentially, with descriptive captions, and integrate into the text.
  8. Equations: Center and number equations sequentially, ensuring clarity.
  9. References: Follow IEEE citation style, listing references numerically at the end of the paper.


Paper Submission

Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references. Full text papers (.doc, .docx, .pdf) will be submitted to submission-ijcit@uap-bd.edu. Allsubmittedarticles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.

  1. Article Acceptance Requirements: Authors must adhere to IJCIT instructions to ensure their articles meet the publication's standards for acceptance. This includes formatting specifications, content requirements, and other criteria outlined by the journal.
  2. Avoid Plagiarism and Duplicate Publication: Authors are expected to maintain the originality of their work and avoid submitting the same content to multiple publications. Plagiarism and duplicate publication are serious ethical violations inacademic publishing and can lead to rejection or retraction of the manuscript.
  3. Proper Grammar: Manuscripts should be written with proper grammar and language usage to enhance readability and professionalism. Clear communication is essential for conveying research findings effectively to readers.
  4. Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Generated Text: If utilizing AI-generated text in the manuscript, authors should follow specific guidelines to ensure the accuracy and clarity of the generated content. This may include verifying the output of AI tools and providing appropriate context for the generated text.
  5. Defining Acronyms and Abbreviations: All acronyms and abbreviations used in the manuscript should be clearly defined upon first mention to avoid confusion for readers. This helps maintain clarity and understanding of the text.
  6. Supplemental Material: Authors may include supplemental material, such as additional data, figures, or appendices, to support their manuscript.


Final Submission

Each final full text paper (.doc, .docx) along with the corresponding signed copyright transfer form and scan copy of payment should be submitted to email: submission-ijcit@uap-bd.edu.
